Source: Los Angeles County Watershed ManagementACCORDING to the California Coastal Commission, last year more than 70,000 volunteers collected more than 1.6 million pounds of trash from beaches, lakes and waterways on Coastal Clean-up Day. They hope to best that this year on September 19th.

    I wish I had discovered your site two years ago when I began work on my book. It is one of the most informative, thought-provoking, and inspiriational sites of its kind (or of any other kind, for that matter.) Thanks for doing the work.
